As recent headlines all too clearly illustrate, cybersecurity needs to be a top priority for all nonprofits. Nonprofit organizations handle volumes of sensitive data every day. Client records, donor information, confidential emails, and hundreds of other transactions pass through our organizations. Reputation is everything - and a data breach can destroy a reputation in one fell swoop.
How concerned should nonprofits be in the face of recent cyber-attacks and security threats? What are the top cybersecurity threats to nonprofits? What should nonprofits be doing to better protect themselves?

Agent Holtz manages the Cyber program for the FBI’s Kansas City Field Office and in that role has worked on cyber national security, cybercrime, on-line sexual exploitation of children and cyber counter terrorism.
