Donna Vestal is the director of content strategy at KCUR 89.3, Kansas City’s NPR affiliate. She came to the public media station in 2010 to launch Harvest Public Media, a collaboration of Midwest stations covering food and food production issues. Before that, she worked for 18 years as a business editor for The Kansas City Star, where she directed small business, retail, development, workplace and health care beats, among others. Donna has a journalism degree from the University of Missouri and an MBA from the University of Kansas.
