Nonprofit Whistle Stop Listening Tour - Kansas City

Wednesday, March 22 @ 9:30 am - 10:30 am • Organized By Board of Directors of Nonprofit Missouri
4801 Rockhill Rd., Kansas City, MO 64110

About

As Missouri's premier statewide nonprofit association, NPMO is eager to learn more about what is happening in the nonprofit sector across Missouri. We have hosted these sessions in St. Louis and Columbia, and will be hosting sessions in St. Charles, Springfield and other parts of the state.

It is vital that we hear the voice of the KC nonprofit sector to inform our advocacy efforts, help us identify common interests and amplify our collective voice statewide.

Everyone in attendance will receive a copy of NPMO's 2015 Economic Landscape Report: Quantifying Missouri's Nonprofit Sector.

UMKC's Midwest Center for Nonprofit Leadership has been a leader in developing nonprofit sector research. Their 2016 Insights Into The Kansas City Nonprofit Sector report provided valuable data. NPMO seeks to work to continue building the narrative. Given the challenges of the current political climate, NPMO is mobilizing to identify and share your stories behind the data, then further define the role NPMO plays in the state, as well how to provide advocacy support in local communities.

As a result of the whistle stop listening sessions, NPMO will compile your feedback and stories. We look forward to sharing our findings with you.

Join us to:

  • Share and listen

  • Touch on issues at the forefront of your agency's agendas

  • Discover key advocacy messages and define potential collective action steps

  • Clarify how NPMO can support your success
