Mid-Continent Public Library’s Square One Small Business Services and the Clay Co. Economic Development Council will be hosting another free Small Business Bootcamp on Friday, March 10. The seminar will be held from 8:30 – noon at the Woodneath Library Center.
The goal of the event is to connect entrepreneurs and small business owners with helpful information and resources. Presentations will begin at 9 a.m. with keynote speaker, Andrew Potter, owner of the newly opened RoKC climbing gym in North Kansas City. Expert-led breakout sessions, networking and a resource fair of organizations that aid small businesses will follow him.
Attendees will choose between breakout sessions on the topics of: How to Get Your Business License; Doing Business in the Cloud; Insuring Your New Company; Legalese for Small Business Owners; Social Media for Sales; and What the EDC Can Do for You
The breakout sessions will be led by expert speakers such as Adrienne Haynes, a founding partner of SEED Law, Jason Crowley, owner of Indigex, Anne Cull, owner of ThinkViral, and a panel of local city representatives such as John Pajor, manager of BizCare.
