The purpose of the KUMC 3D Printing Symposium is to invite members of the faculty, external partners, community leaders, and prospective donors to a presentation on different 3D printing and bio printing technologies. The symposium is intended to inform attendees about the technologies being considered for the creation of a dedicated 3D Printing Facility to serve KUMC, KU, external institutions, and the greater Kansas City area to foster new collaborations, develop new technologies, and stimulate novel business opportunities. The symposium will be focused on the application of 3D printing technologies and bio printing technologies to clinical service and diagnostics, education enrichment, and biomedical research innovation. Scientists, clinicians, and educators from inside and outside of the University of Kansas will give presentations. In addition, leading 3D Printing companies have been invited to present and showcase their technologies and services for consideration. The symposium will be used to collect feedback for core operations, equipment purchase, and funding considerations.
Lunch will be provided. RSVP Required by no later than October 13th 2016. Please email Jennifer McLellan (email@example.com) to RSVP.
