The Mid-America Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to the fifth annual Business Equality Conference on Thursday, October 6thfrom 9:00 am – 5:00 pm at the Federal Reserve of Kansas City
The theme of the 2016 Business Equality Conference is "Connecting Passion to Product". The keynote address will be given by Judy Dlugacz, founder of Olivia Cruise Lines. Additionally, we are thrilled that Mitchell Gold, co-founder of Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams: Classic Modern Home Furnishings, will also be joining us. Both have developed internationally known products that reflect their individual commitment to quality and justice.
Once again, a number of local, regional, and national leaders will share their knowledge and experiences on important topics such as: Supplier Diversity and why it's important to be a certified LGBT Business Enterprise, Transgender Issues in the Workplace, Advocacy for business success, the Value of Mentorship, and others that will certainly create a fun and informative day.
The Conference will conclude with anopportunity to mingle, discuss and network with other conference attendeesprior to the October B2B Network which will also be held at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.
