About

Connect. Collaborate. Cultivate.
Money Smart KC: A Decade of Change

Did you know that Money Smart KC is turning 10 years old?  Money Smart KC has expanded from a one week initiative with 50 partners and 50 events, to a year-round initiative with over 280 partners,1,127 events, and 21,184 attendees in 2016.   Since 2008, Money Smart KC has served 90,670 individuals through 4,520 events.  And that doesn't count the new Money Smart KC website, created by over 100 organizations, that has had thousands of visitors.

We could not have done any of this without the hundreds of partner organizations that make Money Smart KC a success! We are having an event on August 29, from 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. This event is for partners, potential partners and anyone that has an interest in promoting financial capability.
