SBA Financing 101

From starting up or expanding your business to recovering from disasters, SBA loan programs are available to help your business succeed. The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) provides many financial assistance programs for small businesses to assist in meeting your key financing needs.

You will learn:
What is an SBA Loan?
What types of SBA loans are available?
Is my business eligible for a SBA loan?  How bankable am I?
To whom do I apply for an SBA loan?
What other resources are available to help me in obtain financing?

In addition, a representative from the U.S. Census Bureau will present “Census Business Builder.”

You will learn how to research and find:
Demographic Characteristics
Socioeconomic Characteristics
Housing Characteristics
Other data a successful business may need to increase success

Validated parking is available at 1025 Main Street Garage.

Directions to the Kansas City District Office, Suite 500:    Enter Commerce Bank building through the parking garage at 1025 Main Street. Take the garage elevator to the 2nd floor exiting to the right and go through the automatic doors into the building. Cross the lobby and go past the side of the Box Gallery. The security desk will be on your left and elevators on the right. Take the elevator to the 5th floor, Suite 500.
