The writing is on the wall:
90% of startups fail.
Entrepreneurship is tough. Taking an idea from concept to profitability is extremely difficult. The odds are stacked against you. But luckily entrepreneurs give it a go anyway. In more robust startup communities, failure is not shunned but embraced. Instead of disappearing into the darkness, startup founders quickly move on to their next ventures with their community rallying behind them.
It's time for Kansas City to do the same.
Zen and the Art of Failure
We're inviting the Kansas City startup community to come together for an evening of embracing failure. Join us for food, drinks, networking, and learning as we listen to three local founders talk about their startup journey from beginning to end.
Eze Redwood, Prodigy Arcade (RIP December 2012)
Kyle Rogers, Knoda (RIP January 2015)
Julie Edge, Creelio (RIP May 2016)
They will tell stories and answer questions about their startup journey, tough decisions they made along the way, and what they're doing now.
