10 KC Businesses Will Vie for Cash Prizes at AltCap Pitch Competition during GEWKC 2021

Ten Kansas City small business and entrepreneur finalists will compete for cash prizes in the AltCap Your Biz: Pitch Competition during Global Entrepreneurship Week – Kansas City. 

The 10 finalists, according to KSHB:

• Fresh Factory KC

• Heart and Seoul

• Legacy Asset Group

• MJ Fitness

• Ophelia’s Blue Vine Farm

• Peak Roofing-Mechanical

• Queen’s Kitchen

• The Ripple

Finalists will have five minutes to pitch their businesses to a panel of judges. Winners will be announced that same day.

KSHB reports the grand prize is $20,000, double the top prize in past years; second place is $10,000 and third place is $5,000.

Another fan favorite competition will award another winner $2,500. Starting Oct. 20, watch AltCap’s social media channels for a chance to vote: Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
