Take advantage of KC's entrepreneurial resources

Carol Espinosa of Freedom Companies arrived in KC from Brazil 15 years ago with just two suitcases and a dream to start her own business. Since then, she's tapped KC's entrepreneurial resources like Blue Hills Community Services. (Very smart.) Here's her startup advice (and why your company should apply to Construction Business Management, starting on Jan. 21) & more.

Carol Espinosa is an immigrant entrepreneur who came to the United States with two suitcases and a dream to start her own business. Today, she owns Freedom Companies.

Carol took FastTrac® NewVenture and got so much out of the experience that she returned for even more classes in the UBGI family. “The great thing (about taking the classes) was creating a network of support and being able to work with people that I still work with today. We’re talking about three or four years later, those people are key in the development of my company. I keep going back to them and picking their brains. Everytime I need help with something, they’re always available.”
