BetaBlox starts as an accelerator, turns into an incubator and ends as an advisor. We do this through a rigorous three-month boot camp, turned into three more months of incubation services, ending in years worth of office space, consultation, mentor appointments/lectures and more.
We take 10 companies at a time and have processed more than 500 applications. We create the longest relationships with the most hands-on system of any other entity in the city that helps entrepreneurs. Anyone can apply, but only the most scalable opportunities led by the brightest entrepreneurs make it in. In exchange we take 5 percent equity in each venture. No cash, no leases, no retainers: just a promise to share in your success.
The Kansas City Startup Village (KCSV) is an entrepreneur-led, organic, grassroots initiative helping to bolster the Kansas City entrepreneur and startup community.
