Small Biz Questions? Get Answers at KCSourceLink's April Traveling Office Hours
Spring is right around the corner—and so is our breath of fresh air Network Builder Jenny Miller.
Yes, Jenny is headed to your neighborhood for our April installment of Traveling Office Hours. Throughout April (and beyond), Jenny will take deep knowledge of Kansas City’s business resources to neighborhoods throughout the KC metro, all to better serve business owners, right where you live and work.
Every Tuesday afternoon from 1 to 4 p.m., Jenny will grab a chair and answer your burning small business questions from different Resource Partner locations—and she comes equipped with the small business knowledge and connections to help you start and grow your business.
Ask her how to find funding for your business or where you can get help writing a business plan. You can ask her about coworking, networking, workforce development. She can tell you what licenses your business needs in your community and she knows all the programs—free and fee—that can help your business grow.
It’ll be like having 240+ small business experts in your pocket—without the awkwardness or spatial challenges of actually having actual people in your pocket.
The spring roadshow kick starts April at Hispanic Economic Development Corporation (HEDC) on Tuesday, April 5. We’ll hold our office hours from 1-4 p.m., no appointments necessary. Have a budding question? Bring it. Have some ideas that need a little help to grow? We know the people who can help. Don’t even know what questions to ask? We can help with that, too.
Jenny will meet with you, assess your needs and make referrals to the appropriate resources in the KCSourceLink network, a teeming garden of 240+ nonprofit, government and educational organizations whose services are typically low or no cost. And of course, your face-to-face with Jenny is free.
You’ll leave your meeting with Jenny equipped with an action plan that will help you solve your business challenges whether you’re stumped about business plans, marketing or the right funding to pursue for your startup.
