KCMO Entrepreneurs: Scholarships Available for High-Impact Training

"Is anyone willing to write a check for what you're selling?"

That's the first question you should ask of your budding business. Before you design a logo, before you rent that cool space, find out if anyone actually wants to buy what you're selling.

If you're a KCMO resident or business owner, you can dig deep into that market research as well as credit development and business feasibility thanks to some pretty sweet scholarships offered by the Urban Business Growth Initiative (UBGI). For just $75, you can find out if your idea is actually worth pursuing before you break your bank on logos, leases and other startup expenses. (That's up to 90 percent savings on proven, high-impact programs.)

This fall, UBGI is offering scholarships to three of its high-impact programs.

  • Icehouse Entrepreneurship Program, Sept. 17 – Nov. 19, 2015
