Dolce Bakery Wins KCSourceLink’s Fourth Annual Battle of the Brands
Dolce Bakery dominated this year’s Battle of the Brands, to take the crown and the title of the Aristo of Entrepreneurship in KCSourceLink’s Battle of the Brands.
Bracket by bracket, the power of baked goods knocked out favorites, heavy weights and KC brand royalty like Garza’s Goodies Chocolates and Confections, Twisted Sisters Coffee Shop, Local Pig, Boulevard Brewing Company and finally the Sporting KC. Apparently, life in KC is good with chocolate, coffee, pork, beer and soccer. But life is better with a scratch-made cinnamon roll by your side.
All along the way Dolce Bakery rallied its fierce fans and followers across its social media networks—Facebook, Twitter and Instagram—with social media posts that left us hungry for more. They “tagged” every business they went up against and kept the battle just as fresh as their just baked cupcakes.
We extend our hearty (and hungry?) congratulations to all the competitors who willingly entered this fray (companies had to self-nominated) and the fans that raved and rallied beside them. If you ever doubted why KC is a great place to start a business, well, the battle erased all uncertainty.
