Wondering what you can get out of Global Entrepreneurship Week – Kansas City? Glad you asked: We’ve got 10 reasons that’ll show you exactly all the awesome you can squeeze out of a single week to help your business with exactly what it needs, right now to help you start something new, pivot for success and equip your business with what it needs for the future.

(Wondering what GEWKC is, what’s in store this year and why the week’s events from Nov. 16-20 more important than ever for helping your business? We’ll explain over at this link about how you can attend some amazing sessions to help you with every facet of your business for the low, low price of $0. Don’t worry; we’ll be waiting for you right here when you get back.)

1. Start, recover and build resiliency

This year has been tough, but for GEWKC 2020, we’ve crafted events (based on what YOU told us you wanted to learn about) to help you start, recover and build resiliency for the future. The community crafted this year’s events specifically for you and your needs as an entrepreneur.

2. Learn new skills to succeed.

No matter if you’re pitching, preparing or strengthening your business plan, there’s a GEWKC session that can help your business when you need it most. The dozens of Prime-Time and Community Events will teach you useful stuff, like how to build a brand, leverage marketing to reach more customers, pivot for success, find alternative financing and A LOT more great tips and insights from business experts. Plus, every day has themed-breakouts that cover Starting and marketing a business; funding and financing; and life stories and inspiration from entrepreneurs. Check out the entire GEWKC agenda here.

Plus, we’ve reserved spots for 4 GEWKC Prime-Time Events on Thursday, Nov. 19 that you can vote on and tell us what topics you want those sessions to cover.

3. Network with like-minded entrepreneurs and business pros

The awesome people you’ll meet at GEWKC can help you start and scale your venture—and we’ve got opportunities for virtual networking (these are interactive sessions that go way beyond your typical Zoom call) to help you do that. (We’ll get way more into that in Reason No. 4.)

We’ve even got Bingo and Trivia events to help you have a little fun.

Plus, GEWKC draws people from around the metro and beyond. It’s a great opportunity to connect with other entrepreneurs and business experts whom you otherwise might not meet. And because the event is virtual this year, it’s a great opportunity to really expand your network!

> > > Pardon the interruption: Have you registered for GEWKC yet? Your ticket to the 2020 celebration starts with building your agenda. So what are you waiting for? Sign in and start building your agenda today before spots fill up!

4. Make connections that last

People you meet at GEWKC might be key connections who can help you with your entrepreneurial journey—they might impart a key piece of advice, become a vital business mentor or customer or be the spark for that vital connection that’ll help you start or grow your venture.

Use the Prime-Time PheedLoop platform’s Guided Networking, Marketing and Funding Exchanges, as well as the Hallway to build new connections. We’ve got networking baked into the day so you can make the connections and build the network you need to move forward.

5. Help your fellow entrepreneurs

Friends don’t let friends do GEWKC alone. Build your network and build your community by inviting your friends, neighbors, business mentors, colleagues … whoever those key supporters are in your entrepreneurial journey—because everyone knows at least one person someone else should meet, and right now, we all need to lift up one another. Entrepreneurship isn’t a solitary journey; let’s help as many entrepreneurs and small businesses that we can.

6. Learn about Kansas City’s entrepreneurial ecosystem
