Innovation is fueled by scientific advancement --in sparking connections between researchers and entrepreneurs to move the latest discoveries into marketplace. And that spark of innovation happens at the cutting edge, when scientists and researchers gather to exchange ideas and develop new collaborations.
The ASBMR Topical Meeting on Bone and Skeletal Muscle Interactions is one of those opportunities.
Osteoporosis and sarcopenia are major contributors to frailty in the elderly population and are growing public health problems, especially as a substantial number of baby boomers advance in age. This “state of science” conference, hosted by the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR) on July 17–18, 2012, in Kansas City, Missouri, will draw together leading muscle and bone researchers to accelerate emerging scientific discoveries in the area of muscle and bone interactions.
Network with Researchers
ASBMR will also host a free networking event on Tuesday, July 17, from 6:20 to 7:20 p.m. in the Pershing Place Room of the Westin Crown Center. Those interested in participating do not need to complete the official registration, but should email Stacey Barnes with their interest and contact information.
Networking Event Deadline: Monday, July 9.
